The Photo Gallery gives you a good way to display, browse and inspect the photos in a photo collection. It opens with Gallery menu selection or buttons found several places on PhotosDirect pages. It will always open the current collection, either it is ongoing or opened from the My Photo Collections menu entry.
The lower part of the gallery view has a horizontal bar of thumbnails containing a shortcut to each photo in the collection. Clicking a photo in this bar will open the photo in the main view above the thumbnail bar.
You may switch photo by clicking in the outer left or right side of the main view photo to go to the previous or next photo. The thumbnail bar will highlight the current photo.
A line above the thumbnail bar indicates on the left side the number of photos in the collection and which is shown in the main view. The right side of the line has three small icon buttons:
The leftmost is a “play” button that will start a continuous slide show of all photos in the collection. The slide show will play until stopped by the “pause” button replacing the “play” button while playing.
The middle button is a square frame button. When you click this button, the image changes to full-screen view. You can get back to normal view by clicking the square frame button again or just pressing the esc button on your keyboard.
The rightmost button is illustrated by a square of nine dots changing to a rectangle with three dots below when clicked. This button switches the thumbnail bar on or off.
The three buttons are available in both normal and full-screen views.
A green Update button on the lower part of the page refreshes the photo collection and can be used with an ongoing collection to update with photos received after the gallery was opened.
